1798 Small Eagle 15 Stars, B-2, BB-81, R-3. XF-40+.

Description:
|
This example is from the final year depicting the Small Eagle reverse design, and it is the only variety from this year having 15 stars on the obverse. Its dusky gray surface with a lilac tinge does not appear original. Some random surface marks are apparent, but are not obtrusive on this well-detailed specimen. Despite its dubious surface coloration, it still is a seldom encountered and highly regarded variety.
