Lot Title:
1798 Small Eagle 15 Stars (B-2, BB-81, R.3). PCGS VF-30.
Description:
For a bust dollar graded just VF-30, there is surprising luster still visible within peripheral recesses, and even some central details are sharper than expected of the grade. Surface color is a little muted, with minimal contrast between fields and devices caused by a faint touch of greenish-gold tone on the highpoints of the obverse, while the reverse offers even less contrast. There is a darker ashy area at the top of the reverse, but little else to catch the eye. Housed in a PCGS green-label holder.
