Lot Title:
1803 Large 3 (B-6). ANACS VF-35.
Description:
The only "large 3" die-marriage, this example seems ever so slightly glossy when one "peeks through" the biscuit-gold patina, but the devices still show pleasing accumulation of dirt, especially around the stars, and that helps elevate the visual sharpness. A couple of thin scratches cross over the shield at moderate length, but offer practically no distraction, having toned over very nicely along with the rest of the coin. (PCGS# 006900)
