Lot Title:
1843-C Large Date. PCGS XF-45.
Description:
Modestly conserved perhaps, as the surfaces don't have much of the "dirt and grime" expected of 15 points wear, but who cares? Luster still lurks near the rims, and for sure, no unsightly discoloration detracts from the even, mustard-gold color. The flatly struck details always expected of Charlotte don't disappoint, being about where the usual XF or better coin should be. Even in UNC, these will not show much finer definition.
