Lot Title:
1881 PCGS AU-53.
Description:
Prooflike character remains visible despite seven points of wear, and even hazy friction in the fields still fails to suppress all the underlying reflectivity. Very few distractions are to be found on the obverse, aside from a couple of small pinhole abrasions on the cheek, and the reverse has only a handful of very tiny, irrelevant contact points. There is little to no noticeable variation in the even, canary-gold color on either side. (PCGS# 008003)
