Lot Title:
1868 PCGS AU-58.
Description:
Prooflike character plays a large role in the outstanding eye-appeal of this handsome type coin. Even at first glance, the surfaces beam with beautiful, golden radiance, affected only slightly by the very light friction in the fields, as caused by brief circulation. Liberty's portrait, and even more so the wreath, display some matte texture, leading to distinct cameo effect. (PCGS# 007989)
