Description:

Although the consignor failed in a couple of attempts to upgrade this half dime, it actually is quite choice for the assigned grade and could well be fully MS-63. Gold and rose tones are involved with plenty of luster to supply an admirable visual effect. Die variety collectors seeking an example of the “inverted three” will be gratified to know that this is an earlier die state, such that the upside-down digit is plainly visible.
