Lot Title:
Seven Classic Head Large Cents.
Description:
A full year-set comprised of highly respectable Classic Head Large Cents, but corroded, including: 1808 VF, 1809 Good, 1810 F Corroded, 1811 Good, 1812 Fine Cleaned, 1813 Good and 1814 Good Cleaned. With a bare minimum of marks or rim problems, these coins face up quite acceptably, and each has fully delineated detail for their respective grades. Despite our "corroded" disclaimer, these coins are somewhat better than typically corroded examples. The 1808 has been smoothed and appears as a F+ coin, and the 1809 is worn, but struck on good copper. The 1813 is similar with a some digs on the cheek.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
