Collector appeal: "B+" for the average grade range estimate of VF to XF. To the positive, 1918/7-D with "Fine details" makes an appearance, but this one has rim dings that must be noted. The three-legged buffalo should easily grade VF-35. The lone glaring weakness is that 1913-S type-2 is entirely missing, simply because the consignor could not find one he considered suitable to the collection's grade level. The appeal for the set will rise dramatically once that coin has been added. With that out of the way, some pleasing coins for the most part comprise the collection, especially for the early dates, with plenty of highlights worth listing. We suggest: 1913-D type-2 (AU), 1914-D (XF), 1914-S (XF), 1915-D (VF+), 1915-S (VF), 1916-D (AU), 1917-D (VF), 1917-S (VF), 1918-D (VF), 1919-D (VF, modestly weak obverse), 1919-S (VF/lightly cleaned), 1921-S (VF, much better reverse than usual), 1924-S (VF or very, very close), 1925-D (VF), 1926-S (VF but the horn is weak), and several later dates that should be AU or better (1937 is MS-63).
