(About The Images)
Complete set (No 1918/7-D) in a Whitman 9408 album. Complete set (No 1918/7-D) in a Whitman 9408 album.
Lot Title: Complete set (No 1918/7-D) in a Whitman 9408 album.
Description: No-Land Estate. Collector appeal: "A-" for the average grade range estimate of VG to Fine. A 1937-D three-legged nickel represents far and away the most important coin in this album, as it features nearly a full horn that suggest VF-20 as an appropriate grade. Significant upgrades elsewhere include many coins with at least a partial horn on the bison, though even the later dates which tend to be in slightly higher grade nonetheless mostly have less than a full horn, helping emphasize the unity and consistency of the set. Highlights aside from the famous variety might include: 1913-D type-2 (VG), 1913-S type-2 (Fine), 1921-S (VG), and 1926-S (VG+). The overdate is not included with this collection.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
