Lot Title:
Sheet of eleven Bust half-dollars, all XF/cleaned. Two 1830, four 1834, and five 1836.
Description:
Courteous Collection of Early Type. Cleaning varies from mild to moderate, but none appears to be very harshly offended for this group of later date bust half-dollars. Details should readily fall into the XF or better range, with a couple possibly on the cusp of AU. Dates without net grades list as follows: 1830 O-101, 1830 O-107, 1834 O-101, 1834 O-103, 1834 O-105, 1834 O-114, 1836 O-102, 1836/1336 O-108a, 1836 O-109, 1836 O-112 "bar dot", and 1836 O-116. All different die-marriages in this eleven coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
