Lot Title:
Sheet of eleven cleaned Bust half-dollars.
Description:
Courteous Collection of Early Type. Cleaning has taken hold of each piece, although details in the XF to the upper XF/AU range will still elicit some strong bids, we suspect. Every single one of these is overly white due to the abrasive offenses, which means they need to be removed to Kraft envelopes, or at least album storage in order to begin the recovery process. They catalog as follows: 1826 O-109, 1826 O-111a, 1827 O-114, 1828 O-102, 1828 O-116, 1828 O-117, 1829 O-103, 1829 O-115, 1829 O-119, 1830 O-106, and 1831 O-102. Eleven coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
