Lot Title:
Judd-208: 1858 Cent, NGC PF-65.
Description:
Aside from the 1858 date, Judd-208 has an appearance very similar to that of the regular 1859 issues, although the wreath on the reverse has a different configuration in the leaf clusters. Wonderfully preserved surfaces show perfect ecru-gold patina with innumerable tiny wood grain accents. As always, the strike has brought up exceptionally precise details. (PCGS# 011889)
