(About The Images)
1927-S NGC MS-64. 1927-S NGC MS-64.
Lot Title: 1927-S NGC MS-64.
Description: 150 in MS-64, 18 higher at NGC. A glowing, lustrous buffalo, the slightly glossy appearance isn't unusual for these San Francisco nickels struck during the 1920s. In accordance with heavily used dies, this MS-64 shows typical softness over the most intricate details, yet a full horn and even some definition at the end of the tail show up plainly. Perhaps best of all, long-term placement in an album produced some pleasing iridescent toning around most of the obverse, leaving the reverse relatively white. (PCGS# 003962)

1927-S PCGS MS-63.
