(About The Images)
1889 ANACS PF-65. 1889 ANACS PF-65.
Lot Title: 1889 ANACS PF-65.
Description: Roman Powers Collection. The coin was photo-certified long before color designations came in vogue, but this Indian cent proof obviously warrants a "BN" designation. Along with scrumptious velvety chocolate texture, some subtle magenta-orange hues emanate from the fields under strong lighting. Free from contact marks and showing only a couple of small carbon spots, this should be a brown gem by any reasonable grading standard, past or present. Coin and certificate are housed in a custom Lucite holder. (PCGS# 002354)

Incandescent hues of intermixed pastel blues and rose enrich this piece's obverse, peripherally. A couple microscopic toning specs are noticed while using a glass. A prominently struck issue.
