(About The Images)
1837 No Stars, Small Date. PCGS AU-58. 1837 No Stars, Small Date. PCGS AU-58.
Lot Title: 1837 No Stars, Small Date. PCGS AU-58.
Description: The Nickel-To-A-Doughnut Collection. This is hands-down an attractive no-stars half-dime that likely was submitted with mint-state aspirations. The full complement of satin luster remains in the fields, just barely interrupted by trivial friction on the high points of the devices. Lovely, deeply saturated grapefruit-orange toning fills the obverse fields, joined by delicate lavender undertones on the reverse. A true "slider" AU-58! (PCGS# 004312)
Low Estimate: $400.00
High Estimate: $450.00
