(About The Images)
Two 1837 Small Date. MS-60/questionable color. Two 1837 Small Date. MS-60/questionable color.
Lot Title: Two 1837 Small Date. MS-60/questionable color.
Description: One of these has some remarkable die cracks next to Liberty's upraised forearm, and also beside her leg. An additional tiny crack springs upward from her foot. The other coin has a different, prominent die crack diverting down and to the right from the heel of her foot. Both are clearly artificially toned in this two coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

1837 No Stars, Small Date. PCGS AU-58.
The Nickel-To-A-Doughnut Collection. This is hands-down an attractive no-stars half-dime that likely was submitted with mint-state aspirations. The full complement of satin luster remains in the...

1837 Small Date. ANACS AU-50.

392The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008$725.00
1837 Small Date. MS-63.
Fragile mint luster reaches through the patina, testifying to mint state preservation, though the cartwheel effect is subdued. Impressed very well by the dies, except just left of the center reverse,...

1837 Small Date. XF-40.
