Lot Title:
Pollock-3239: (1860) Half-Dime Uniface Die Trial (obverse), copper, PCGS.
Description:
Avant Garde Collection. Plate coin for both Judd and Pollock. Being a hub die, there naturally was no date when the hub was used to impress the flan, but the design is clearly that of a regular issue half-dime, and the impression happens to demonstrate exquisite details overall. PCGS MS-63 RB, R.9 (apparently unique).
