1795 and 1796 in NGC Plugged holders, as described. 1795 and 1796 in NGC Plugged holders, as described.
Lot Title: 1795 and 1796 in NGC Plugged holders, as described.
Description: New World Estate. Never certified in the past to the consignor's knowledge, these were sent in to NGC with full expectation of some sort of "plugged" disclaimer, as in either case, the repairs were not particularly well executed. 1795 shows the repair at "E", with that letter inaccurately resculpted a bit out of place, while 1796 displays a rather crude plug at the second star. The coins, per NGC, bear Fine and VF details respectively, with 1795 showing extensive smoothing of the entire surface in addition to the plug. Two coin lot.
