Lot Title:

1802 (B-6, BB-241) NGC XF details/rim damage.
|
Description:
|
Marshmallow Collection. Rather boldly attractive despite any disclaimers, the sharpness benefits from ideally situated lighter beige toning on the higher design elements, which contrasts well with powder-grey overall patina. "Rim damage" refers to a small pinched area at the extreme top of the obverse (bottom of the reverse), though it really barely seems to warrant mention. (PCGS# 040087)

Just left of the eagle's tail feathers is a small raised area that corresponds to a discolored spot beneath "BE" on the obverse. It is likely that an attempt was made to puncture the coin in this... |
