(About The Images)
1903 ICG MS-64. 1903 ICG MS-64.
Lot Title: 1903 ICG MS-64.
Description: Natural Classic's Collection. MS-64 seems appropriate any time in any holder from both the technical and aesthetic standpoint, as the coin offers a fantastic strike illuminated by dusky subtle luster. Many times, a Barber quarter this nice will be dipped in order to satisfy the "brilliant is best" philosophy that much of the market still professes, but some escape treatment and are allowed to retain original skin. How refreshing to see that such is the case here. (PCGS# 005634)

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

By 1903, proof coinage of the Barber series was definitely on the downside of the cameo-era, since very few examples of any of the three denominations are certified at the "CAM" level (much less the...
