Lot Title:
1897 NGC MS-64.
Description:
Wonderful, smooth luster characterizes the eye-appeal of this Barber quarter, with the quality emphasized by original toning that isn't quite pretty, but certainly adds interest. Segments of magenta-grey filter over the obverse, favoring the right side, while nearly half the reverse displays vigorous cobalt-blue color with a touch of violet spilling into the silvery areas. Small contact marks on Liberty's cheek denote the grade. (PCGS# 005616)

An original Uncirculated Barber Quarter that is fairly clean for the grade. With a tad more luster it would have graded higher. |
