Lot Title:
1871 NGC PF-65+.
Description:
French Connection Estate. The "plus" gives some indication as to the superior quality, as proof shield nickels are just plain impossible to find this nice. Surfaces exhibit preferable brilliant white quality with substantial luster curling around the outer field areas. Well struck with perhaps three light and utterly trivial carbon flecks on the obverse. (PCGS# 003825)
