(About The Images)
1923-S NGC AU-50. 1923-S NGC AU-50.
Lot Title: 1923-S NGC AU-50.
Description: Discernible cartwheel luster revolves carefully through the mushroom-tan fields surrounding Liberty's portrait, which itself features pale grey accents. 1923-S has a reputation for weak strikes, which helps explain why so many are in lower grade, and this example certainly displays soft details at Liberty's head and within the shield. However, the date and especially the mintmark are both bold. (PCGS# 005744)

1923-S PCGS MS-64.
