1866 Motto. PCGS PF-62. 1866 Motto. PCGS PF-62.
Lot Title: 1866 Motto. PCGS PF-62.
Description: A slender but eye-catching band of reflectivity encircles the outer periphery of the obverse stars, emitting orange light back to the viewer, and the reverse is similarly toned, though both sides are dominated by lead-grey patina. Pinpoint definition characterizes the proof strike, and the design elements feature very fine frosty texture. Patchy hairlines will capture the viewer's attention only under specific lighting angles.
