Lot Title:
Collection of Lincoln cents in a Dansco 7100 album.
Description:
Eye-appeal for the UNC 1909-VDB incorporates near-stunning, vivid album toning, but 1909-S VDB is missing. Album toning tendency emanates also from 1913 (MS-63 BN), 1917, 1918, 1919, 1920, and 1931-D, but at least some of these seem to be cleaned. A few other better coins include: 1909-S (VG-10), 1912-D (VF), 1914-D (F), 1914-S (F), 1915-S (F), 1916-S (XF), 1917-D (XF), 1922-D (VF)., 1923-S (XF), 1924-D (F), and quite a few other earlier dates in F/VF, 1931-S (XF), plenty of red UNCs in the 1930s and 1940s, and a red UNC 1995 doubled-die. A great collection well worth additional review by prospective bidders.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
