Lot Title:

Collection of Lincoln cents, 1909 through 2011-D (no 1922 plain) in Dansco 7102 and 7103 albums.
|
Description:
|
1909-S VDB has been appropriately certified by PCGS as grading F-15, and is a lovely original coin that undoubtedly matches up nicely with the balance of the collection, which focuses generally on coins with dark, original patina. There is no 1922 "plain". Additional better coins include 1909-S (VG/corroded), 1914-D (F/bent/reverse corrosion), and 1931-S (AU/obverse dig). Despite the explicitly stated problems in these cases, 1912-S seems to be the only other coin with noticeable issues, having been cleaned.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
