Lot Title:
1873 No Arrows - Closed 3. PCGS PF-63CAM CAC.
Description:
Drop dead gorgeous, most potential bidders will see this near-white dime as an undergraded and under-designated proof at first glance. Indeed, the obverse seems close to DCAM, except that few peripheral letters on the left are not densely frosted, and the fields are free from all but the finest of wispy hairlines. The reverse is, however, only CAM as designated. Here also, very few hairlines detract from the grade, but clever viewers will discover a shallow, thin horizontal scratch in the field above ONE.
