(About The Images)
1889 (VAM-16, Doubled Ear, Hot 50) PCGS MS-66. 1889 (VAM-16, Doubled Ear, Hot 50) PCGS MS-66.
Lot Title: 1889 (VAM-16, Doubled Ear, Hot 50) PCGS MS-66.
Description: Gleaming silver-white, the brilliant cartwheel effect dominates aesthetic considerations with booming spokes of luster. This is true of both sides, and the strike is noticeably sharp as well. The "doubled ear" which characterizes VAM-16 is most easily seen by rotating the coin about 90 degrees counterclockwise and allowing light to capture the extra outline from straight-on. (PCGS# 134012)

High Estimate: $1,450.00
