(About The Images)
1794 (O-104, R.5) NCS VG details/environmental damage. 1794 (O-104, R.5) NCS VG details/environmental damage.
Lot Title: 1794 (O-104, R.5) NCS VG details/environmental damage.
Description: Nine berries left, and ten right quickly attribute O-104, an R.5 die-marriage. Surfaces have the somewhat rough look of a ground find, yet the "environmental damage" noted by the NCS holder is not really all that bad. Further, grey patina drapes the upper and lower thirds of the obverse, with a darker area across the middle, though the entire reverse is yet again another shade darker than that. Sharpness on the reverse seems closer to Fine that VG, but he reverse is not quite as well defined. (PCGS# 006051)

1794 (O-101a) VG/impaired.
Obverse details probably border on VG sharpness. The rim is practically full, falling of the flan along the right side where slightly improper centering kept it from ever being strong in the first...

1794 (O-101a, R.4) Good/obverse scratch.
Good/obverse scratch is accurately descriptive, although the supposed "scratch" is of minor consequence in the center of Liberty's upper tresses. As a near-miss for the full "very-good" grade,...

1794 O-101, R-4. NCS VG Details, Repaired, Whizzed.
This prestigious first year of issue half dollar still captures a high degree of desirability, even though its surfaces have undergone a transformation from their original state. Some overzealous...

1794 F.
With this offering you get the chance to obtain a lovely example of the very first half dollar produced in U.S. history. The color is light antique silver and of uniform coloration. An old...

1794 F-15.
