Lot Title:
1884 NGC MS-65.
Description:
Quality is nothing short of terrific for a cent graded "BN". Indeed, about 20% of the original mint red remains, and interplays beautifully with violet iridescence that emanates from the fields. In recent years, bluish tone has fallen under suspicion for copper coins, but that featured here is the shade of subtle violet that seems to be of fully acceptable origin. GEM quality through and through! (PCGS# 002148)
