Lot Title:
1873 OPEN 3. PCGS MS-62.
Description:
Despite the MS-62 grade, surfaces display a surprising number of handling marks, especially in the fields. As usual for the date, both sides are fully prooflike in appearance, and the delicate surfaces undoubtedly exaggerate the effect of the abrasions. Absolutely smashing appearance at arm's length. This specimen's yellow-gold aspect beams with a visual vibrancy from its satinlike surfaces. A few trivial ticks and a faint scuff or two on the reverse's fields are noted. A curious raised... |
