Description:

One pair of dies. Probably Breen die-state II, which shows a faint die line through the bases of LF on the reverse, and this die-state could also be responsible for an uneven strike that produced very sharp stars, but mundane definition nearer the central devices. The obverse is a little spotty, the reverse less so, and about 70% of the original mint red color remains.
