Not only is this a rarity (R.5+ or R.6-, depending on the source) in the half-cent series, but the condition census is quite low. This example features incredibly nice, creamy caramel-brown color, reddening slightly at the date and with a glimpse of a lighter copper-tan crescendo along the reverse right side. Thus, an appropriate net grade will be near congruent with the details grade. PCGS calls this F-15, and as discussed, definition was a problem for many examples -- on the reverse, that is. Thus a more appropriate grade for sharpness could be VG-10+, with a minor deduction for an ancient pinscratch stuck to Liberty's forehead, leading to a net EAC 10 grade. That would still be plenty enough to put this coin into an early copper census.
