Lot Title:
1924 PCGS MS-65FH.
Description:
Sensational strike quality goes above and beyond "full head" definition, since the shield exhibits every rivet, although die cracks ensure a lack of some design elements. For example, a brief crack inside the shield prevents the inner lines from being defined, and another crack at the date has caused the top of each digit to be a trifle weak. All in all, though, delineation of major design elements is a joy to behold. On top of that, this coin features fantastic luster that simply exudes gem eye-appeal, augmented by a fine sheath of royal-gold patina on both sides. Bagmarks are minimal, with one triangular blemish on Liberty's exposed shin.
