(About The Images)
1913-D NGC MS-64 BN. 1913-D NGC MS-64 BN.
Lot Title: 1913-D NGC MS-64 BN.
Description: Fields display excellent luster and a significant portion of the surface exudes glowing violet-blue iridescence. The NGC "BN" designation suitably acknowledges that no more than 10% of the original red remains, clinging to some of the smaller devices, such as the digits in the date and the top of the heads of wheat. Well struck for an early branch-mint cent, with an intermittent scratch that extends right from the end of Lincoln's nose.
Low Estimate: $250.00
High Estimate: $300.00
Lot Status: Bidding has been closed for this lot.
Hammered Price: $210.00

Much more Red than Brown, and with nearly perfect striking details. Both the date and mintmark are bold. The fields are remarkably clean for the grade.
