Lot Title:
|
1913-D MS-60 BN, 1914-D VF, and 1921-S MS-60 BN.
|
Description:
|
Much better Lincoln cents comprise this trio, including one key. 1913-D and 1921-S grade MS-60, each displaying a tinge of mint red around the devices, particularly the 1913-D. 1914-D grades only F, missing VF by a hair's breadth, but it is an exceptionally nice, smooth example with no problems at all. Three coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

The medium copper-red color is hands-down no-question original, and barely faded from the original brilliance as-minted. While the luster is just slightly muted due to the patina, this is actually a... |

Fields display excellent luster and a significant portion of the surface exudes glowing violet-blue iridescence. The NGC "BN" designation suitably acknowledges that no more than 10% of the original... |

Much more Red than Brown, and with nearly perfect striking details. Both the date and mintmark are bold. The fields are remarkably clean for the grade. |
