Bold, shimmering luster is fabulous for this coin's opulent presentation, endowed with an outstanding strike and flecks of tobacco-brown tone that accent the rim and some design elements. From the standpoint of mere preservation, this is a serious contender for gem consideration, but almost certainly held back by an oblong vertical planchet flaw just above Liberty's waist. Further, there is evidence of slide marks across her shins, but most bidders will be delighted by the level of quality at the MS-63 level.
