Lot Title:
1927-S PCGS MS-63 (green label).
Description:
Luster shimmers with surprising vivacity for a 1927-S half, and details are sharper than usual, considering the many examples that were poorly struck. Limited patina has settled across much of both sides, but does not inhibit the underlying luster to an appreciable extent. While there are no obvious marks or defects, the overall impression is influenced by several luster grazes scrapping into the obverse right field, and they certainly account for the grade.

A nice, bright Walker with mottled peripheral toning on the obverse. The reverse is white. This is a super tough coin to find in higher grades, so don't let this one pass you by. |
