Lot Title:
1908-O NGC MS-64.
Description:
1908-O is a better date in the Barber dime series in any grade above VG or so, although it is not outrageously expensive even in MS-64. This example is admittedly a little muted on the obverse, but then again, NGC does not suggest that it is a gem, either. Predominantly silver-white, peripheral areas are touched with scattered accents of citrus-tan patina.

Enhancing golden highlights adorn this specimen's frosty surfaces. A sprinkling of darker peach speckles are noted in the fields of this crisp New Orleans issue. |
