Description:
|
Unique surface quality appears on the reverse where the fields are heavily peppered with tiny raised bumps. Typically, this would be a sign of a rusty die, even though one would assume such a die would not be used to strike proof coins. This is a creme-beige coin with a touch of rim tone along the left side of the obverse. A patchy area of hairlines below GOD WE is the reason for the PF-60 grade.
