(About The Images)
1930-S PCGS MS-66. 1930-S PCGS MS-66.
Lot Title: 1930-S PCGS MS-66.
Description: 1930-S and 1931-S are popular issues with Buffalo nickels collectors due to their lowest mintages for the decade -- 5.4 million for 1930-S, which is the one in this lot. Housed in a PCGS green-label holder is this 1930-S graded MS-66, and amazingly, just four coins grade higher at PCGS (and only one at NGC!). Icy lavender-blue iridescence dances over predominantly nickel-orange fields for this very well struck gem, though the primary motif on each side is peppered with a number of very tiny planchet ticks.
Low Estimate: $700.00
