An example of a Reeded Edge Goloid Dollar, designated as Judd-1564, Pollock-1755, with an assigned Rarity of a low R-7. Designed by William Barber and struck in standard silver alloy (90% silver; 10% copper) at the time when various international coinages were being contemplated. Distinctively struck, it exhibits a sprinkling of trivial flecks and light hues of brownish orange intermingled with blue highlights.
