Description:
|
Exemplary proof surfaces exude eye appeal that could not be nicer for the gem grade. Despite the "red/brown" designation, both sides are well balanced with retention of about 85% of their original mint red beauty. Greyish flecks may be found with the use of a loupe, and though they would qualify as "carbon spots", they have only trivial impact on the very attractive field quality. Those areas of the patina that have faded from the bright red color really lean more toward magenta tones, which only adds to the character of this delightful gem.
