Proof brown copper has never before been more popular than it is today, and by comparison to list prices, individual pieces of merit can sell for staggering premiums. At hand is an incredibly beautiful, stunning example of such a coin. Though graded PF-64 BN by PCGS, the "brown" designation falls pitifully short of conveying the proper impression of the marvelous color that saturates both sides of this glittering jewel. Obverse fields are wholly drenched in a pool of magical emerald-green color that shimmers and dances with a layer of velvety blue overtones. Some similar tones flicker around the wreath on the reverse, but that entire side is illuminated with the smoldering glow of salmon and magenta colors emanating from the central area. Words cannot properly convey the astounding beauty of this piece, nor can a camera capture its essence, and so we strongly urge bidders to examine this coin in person, and to be enchanted by its magnificence.
