Lot Title:
1949-D (lot of three) NGC certified Franklin halves, NGC MS-64 FBL
Description:
NGC has the most stringent criteria for the "FBL" designation, and there is no question whatsoever that each of these coins displays two sets of full, sharp and unbroken bell lines. All three were submitted (along with others) in hopes of a "gem" grade, but by conservative standards, they achieved only MS-64 FBL. Nice, white coins that almost certainly were picked from an original roll. Three coin lot.

Impeccably preserved surfaces are indicative of a coin that has not been dipped, and that retains a full complement of its original mint luster. Remarkably undisturbed for even the Gem grade, this... |
