Lot Title: 1945, 1945-S and two 1947-D Walking Liberty half-dollars, NGC MS-65
Description: A quartet of late-date Walking Liberty half dollars, identically graded MS-65 by NGC, though each has a unique and thoroughly original appearance. The 1945 has speckled russet color strewn across glowing lavender fields, while the 1945-S is far more densely covered with similar russet-gold toning. The first 1947-D glows with luminous baby-blue patina, while the second is endowed with amber-gold peripheral toning. All of these are very attractive coins. Four coin lot.

613The Midwest Summer Sale 2012 on 07/27/2012$525.00
Twenty uncirculated 1945.
Consistent edges suggest an original roll. The coins are entirely brilliant, and should grade at an average of MS-63 to 64, although the strike quality is not anything special throughout.
702The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$1,100.00
One tube of 1945 Walking Liberty half-dollars.
Examination of the edges of these half-dollars strongly suggests that they were transferred from an original roll, as they match up well, and one coin is obviously and end-of-roll constituent. Your...
703The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$450.00
Four 1945 PCGS MS-65.
A quartet of 1945 Walking Liberty half-dollars, each graded MS-65 by PCGS. All are absolutely blast white roll-fresh coins in this four coin lot.
533The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008$1,050.00
Original roll of 1945 Walking Liberty half-dollars.
Apparently sampled at one time, perhaps to observe the dates, the edges of the coins suggest that all were returned to the wrapper, leaving the roll intact. Obviously, 1945 is a common date, but the...
635The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$230.00
1945 NGC MS-65 and 1945-S NGC MS-65.
This is a lavishly toned pairing from two of the three producing mints for this war time issue. The Philadelphia issue displays a delicate blue blush complementing a russet sunset aspect. The San...
677The Midwest Winter Sale 2007 on 02/09/2007$1,150.00
1945 Roll of Twenty.
This is a fresh roll housed in its original paper wrapper. The roll was consigned by the heirs of the collector who tucked it away in the year of its issue. They remained secure in their wrapper...
