Lot Title:
1934-S Walking Liberty half-dollar, PCGS MS-65
Description:
Liberty's thumb is almost entirely present, and clarity of detail offers virtually full definition on the eagle's breast feathers, indicating an unexpectedly good strike for an issue that is often inattentively struck. This is a gleaming silvery coin that has the kind of two-point luster that amplifies its beaming white brilliance. Except for a handful of trivial abrasions on the sun and the usually micro-ticks on Liberty's torso, very little distraction of note appears even under a strong glass.

Only some counter marks are holding this high grade Dollar back from being a monster. There is no toning at all, and it is fully struck. This is a date that you just don’t see in high grades. |
