Lot Title:
1908-D PCGS MS-64.
Description:
Pedigreed to the “Shireman” collection. A thin veneer of vanilla patina sweetens the luster on either side of this nearly pristine half dollar. Struck with very exacting detail, the ribbon of the end of Liberty’s cap even display the multiple folds intended by the die engraver.
