Lot Title:
1871 PF-64.
Description:
An astounding gem that produces a beauty that is beyond words to describe. Liquid metal fields flow with beauty, and this coin probably is a Cameo, though the peripheral lettering is possibly not sufficiently frosted to allow for such. An extravagant array of royal blue, chartreuse and ruby red colors combine with an endless number of intermediate hues. To list every color would practically require a litany of every color in the spectrum. Just an amazing piece!
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Knockout flint-grey surfaces shine beautifully with good reflectivity and distinct contrast with the frosty devices, which themselves remain mostly untoned. |
